2013 Lean Educator Conference
“Next Steps in Lean Education”

The Fisher College of Business at Ohio State University will host the 2013 Lean Educator Conference from October 3rd to 5th.
This year’s the conference focuses on leveraging the progress that has been made in teaching lean – taking lean teaching and learning from single class to a comprehensive program. Attendees will explore global organizations teaching and living lean, participate in a live “teaching Gemba” experience in Fisher’s Master of Business Operational Excellence program, participants will also engage in dynamic and innovative workshops and break-out tracks on lean an expansive view of improving the public sector and teaching lean in health care. This will be a conference of look, see, do.
Who Should Attend?
This event is designed for educator and industry professionals who want to learn more about creating and implementing a comprehensive lean curriculum.
Kicking off the Lean Educator Conference this year is John Shook. Shook is recognized as a true sensei who enthusiastically shares his knowledge and insights with the Lean Community as well as with those just beginning their lean journey. He is the co-author of “Learning to See,” author of “Managing to Learn” and numerous other articles. He has been interviewed about lean management by National Public Radio, Bloomberg News, The Wall Street Journal and numerous trade publications.
